Serena serves as an intermediate digital accessibility specialist for the Disability Equity Office. In this role, she provides digital accessibility consultations, conducts accessibility reviews of information technology and digital content, and assists with ensuring broad compliance across the U-M technology ecosystem according to digital accessibility standards. Prior to joining ECRT, Serena worked at the College of Literature, Science and the Arts to support digital and web accessibility. As a graduate of the University of Michigan, she is deeply passionate about accessibility initiatives that directly help students, staff and faculty here at U-M. In her free time, Serena enjoys reading, watching classic movies, and browsing for gems in used book and record stores.
