Tanya serves as the assistant director for civil rights investigations. In this role, she supports the university’s efforts to comply with civil rights laws and regulations and to ensure equal opportunities and a respectful, inclusive community for all. She works with the director and ECRT investigators to address concerns of discrimination and discriminatory harassment on campus and at Michigan Medicine. She is from Toronto, Ontario and earned a BA in Sociology and a JD from the University of Notre Dame. She enjoys spending time with family, reading and traveling.
