Required Employee Training
ECRT has developed required online training for all employees, which provides crucial information on the university’s policies, procedures, and reporting requirements. The training is not available on a mobile device and must be completed on a computer or tablet.

Discrimination, Harassment, and Retaliation
This training module provides information on addressing concerns of discrimination, harassment, and related retaliation, as well as employee reporting obligations and how to report concerns.

ECRT Trainings
Civil Rights, Discrimination & Harassment
The Civil Rights Office provides additional education for employees and students around discrimination, harassment, and equal employment opportunity requirements under Title VI, Title VII, and other applicable federal and state laws and university policies. Training includes: Campus Commitment and Introduction to ECRT.
Disability &
Accommodations
The Disability Equity Office provides education for the U-M community and beyond on accessibility, disability inclusion, and reasonable accommodations. Sessions include: Introduction to Disability & ADA, Creating Accessible Presentations, Ableism Awareness, and more. Past trainings and are available in video formats.
Sexual & Gender-Based Misconduct Prevention
The PEAR Office provides sexual and gender-based misconduct prevention education for U-M employees, including faculty, staff, and student employees across Ann Arbor, Flint, and Dearborn campuses, and Michigan Medicine. Offerings include: SGBM Policy 101, Bystander Intervention, Responding to Disclosures, and more.
