Lynetta is a civil rights training specialist & liaison for the Equity, Civil Rights, and Title IX (ECRT). Her role in ECRT brings support to the university community to further awareness of the protected classes and empower our faculty, staff, and students with options for how to recognize and respond to concerns. Prior to joining the ECRT team, Lynetta spent over 20 years at the Division of Public Safety & Security engaging with Michigan Medicine spaces and designing and delivering trainings to enhance workplace safety. Lynetta has a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Ferris State University, and she enjoys spending time with family, reading, dancing, and traveling
