Shane is an investigator in the Equity, Civil Rights, and Title IX Office. In this role, he addresses complaints related to civil rights violations, sexual and gender-based misconduct, and discrimination at the university.
Prior to joining ECRT, Shane worked in several roles within the federal government, giving him a strong background in both compliance and investigations. These roles include the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Shane earned his BA in criminal justice and Homeland Security, and an MS in intelligence analysis from the University of Albany.
